Your mission

  • Contribute to prototyping and project implementation in the CDO Office. Build proofs-of-concept around topics such as secure-by-design architectures, AIassisted operations, zero-trust patterns, and emerging technologies.
  • Support security engineering and automation. Help develop and maintain vulnerability management, log analysis, configuration baselines, and security monitoring across Indra's German entities.
  • Engage with secure software and systems development. Participate in code reviews, threat modeling sessions, and lifecycle activities, and contribute small features or hardening improvements to internal tools.
  • Analyze data and produce technical reports. Turn raw telemetry, assessment results, and project data into structured analyses, dashboards, and briefings for technical and management stakeholders.
  • Research emerging technologies and standards. Evaluate new tools, frameworks, and methods (e.g., post-quantum cryptography, AI security, cloudnative security) and share structured findings with the team.
  • Collaborate across business and engineering stakeholders. Help gather requirements, document designs, and keep communication flowing between German operations, engineering teams, and Indra headquarters.

Your profile

  • Accepted into, or eligible to enroll in the DHBW B.Sc. Computer Science – New Study Program (English & Online Track)
  • Previous IT background through vocational training, internships, personal projects, home labs, open-source contributions, or other hands-on technical experience
  • Strong interest in digitalization, information security, applied research, and the aerospace & defense sector
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
  • Availability to work in a hybrid setup from one of the German locations (Cologne, Langen/Frankfurt, or Friedrichshafen) during on-site phases
  • Eligibility to live and work in Germany for the full duration of the Bachelor’s program
