Legal Counsel (m/w/d)

Your mission

  • Legal Advice & Prevention: Supporting management and employees on all legal matters; reviewing projects for legal enforceability; proactively preventing legal issues in line with established corporate goals
  • Contract Management: Drafting, standardizing, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and contract clauses, including contract negotiations
  • Preparation of Legal Opinions: Drafting legal opinions on complex matters
  • Legal Representation: Representing the employer before certain courts (e.g., local, administrative, social, and tax courts) where legal representation is not mandatory; acting as counsel where legal representation is mandatory
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensuring compliance with laws and internal guidelines, managing compliance issues
  • Training & Communication: Conducting legal seminars, drafting guidelines, and translating legal language into understandable formats for business departments
  • Interaction with Authorities and Committees: Supporting internal corporate committees, including preparation for and follow-up on advisory board meetings and coordination with external authorities

Your profile

  • Degree in law (fully qualified lawyer, admitted to the bar, including the second state examination)
  • In-depth knowledge of business law, including contract law and public procurement law
  • Strong negotiation skills, assertiveness, and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to explain complex legal issues clearly and to implement standardized, streamlined processes
  • Fluency in spoken and written German and Business English, as well as knowledge of Spanish
  • Experience with corporate integrations within an international matrix organization, particularly from a corporate law perspective
  • Experience in contract management, data protection, and IT
  • Experience in compliance within a corporate environment
